Kiss: The Vampire

Fri Jun 26, 2009, 8:57 AM
I am having a little three-weekend photoshoot.

I've been wanting for some time now to focus some of my efforts into studying vampires. I thought a lot about it, and this Saturday, some of my models, a couple of very talented photographers, and I are going to follow my line of thinking into fruition. I'm very excited.

These are just a few of my focuses over the next three shoots:

Mistletoe - Human girl meets the male vampire under the mistletoe and he gives her a kiss she'll never outlive.

Forecast - Two vampires are trapped in a pool of shadow that is slowly shrinking as the sun rises.

Spill - A female vampire becomes a little over-zealous.

Razor Burn - This scene centers on a couple who are trying to make things work, despite being from different worlds.

The Outing - Three female vampires wait for the bus.

Garnish - This should prove the garlic legend false.

Groggy Midnight - Two vampires need their caffeine fix to wake up before a long night.

I am very excited. If anyone has any suggestions about what they'd like to see, please let me know!

Personally, I think your signature is a little offensive. I get that it's a Roman-Catholic quote and "Yay, rebel against religion", but I wouldn't call it "bullshit". Think about the soldiers away in wars that died for you.

enter something clever here.
It's actually a Latin quote by Horace, a Roman warrior-poet during the time of Juluis Ceasar. I'm sorry to have to tell you that there were no Roman Catholics then.

It means, "It is sweet and fitting to die for one's country." It has nothing to do with religion.

It is my opinion that it is neither sweet or fitting to die for one's country. It is a shame when one drop of blood is shed, a shame that it *must* be shed, to defend what one loves. A shame, but sometimes a necessary sacrifice.

Also, my ex-girlfriend, who couldn't get into the Navy, had this inscribed on her arm in a tatoo. She doesn't even know what it means. I think that's bullshit, too.

I'm sorry to have offended you. I hope now you understand a little better where I'm coming from.

You're very welcome. Always a pleasure to find new talent. :) (Well, not "find new" talent. You were already talented before I came across you... You know what I mean.) ;)
